Game of Thrones S7 E5 Review

Season 7 Episode 3

A LOT HAPPENED, BUT NOTHING AT ALL…?

I didn’t mind this episode, it wasn’t as great as episode 4 by any mean, it was more like episode 1; a lot of information giving.

This is going to be a bit different from my previous reviews, as I do scene by scene of the complete episode. I won’t be doing it this time, but just talking about things I can remember. I’m in a lazy mood at the moment, sorry about that.

Before I start, where was Theon in this episode? Was he hiding from Jon Snow? I just needed more of them together, even if it’s hard words.

Jamie survives????? I don’t know how I truly feel about that, I want him dead because, c’mon, he was drowning…. But then again, who is going to kill Cersei?

Is Daenerys becoming her father? I know there are people who hate her, or starting to, or does this make me her dad as well? But in a way, I kind of think she should have done what she did. Do you think Cersei wouldn’t do the same in her situation? Look how quickly they bent the knee once she burnt the Tarly’s…and that family isn’t dead, there is still Sam remember.

When Drogon went up to Jon Snow, and let him touch him!!!!!!!! He is a Targaryen!!!!!

We also find out, which isn’t a surprise just a confirmation, that Jon Snow is not a bastard. If Sam Tarly would shut up and listen to Gilly, he would be able to tell Jon when (if) he sees him next.

So, Cersei is pregnant… At first, I oddly enough felt something for her and Jaime, until she tells him, “Don’t betray me again”.
Kill her Jaime, do it now!!

Is it me, or does anyone else think we (Daenerys) shouldn’t trust him 100%. They do say blood is thicker than water, and he might have “bent the knee” for her, but when it comes to it, can he kill Jaime if it meant serving his Queen?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it until he is finally killed off, I do not trust Baelish Creepy-Pants. Arya needs to kill him with that dagger.
I think he knew Arya is watching him, do you think he asked for that letter knowing she will find it. He wants Arya and Sansa to be at odds, he is good at making sisters despise each other……

Finally, we know where Gendry sailed off to….
And even though he is off with Jon Snow on a suicide mission (if you ask me), I wonder what his role is in this game. A bastard son of a king, he has adopted the hammer that his father did. There is always a reason for things in this show.

The ending was annoying, now I need to wait until next week to find out what happened to the suicide squad.
Go home Jon Snow, shit is brewing.

Hurry up week.

Overall, I rate this episode:
