Harry Potter is furious that he is stuck at the Dursleys’ house for the summer, when he suspects that Voldemort is gathering an army, and the wizarding authorities seem unwilling to do anything.
Harry’s so-called friends are trying to keep him in the dark. But he knows that Voldemort’s forces can find him wherever he is; he could be attacked at any moment.
Harry is finally rescued from Privet Drive by members of the Order of the Phoenix – a secret society first formed years ago to fight Voldemort – and discovers that maybe he is not alone in this battle after all.
This one is taking me longer than the rest, I think it’s the longest of them all, and since being an adult with responsibilities, reading has taken a back seat.
In this book you can see everything getting darker, Harry is more emotional. Don’t blame him after seeing what happened to Cedric.
As a reader I’m also getting angry at a few old and new evil characters. I’m talking about you the Dursley family, Snape and Professor Umbridge. I’ve never felt so much hate then I do with Professor Umbridge. What a right old nasty bitch.
What makes a book great…. When you can read it over and over again and still be unable to put it down.
Well done JK Rowling, I’m jealous and admired by you.
